Ian Emes is a British director based in London. Considered to be one of the foremost British animator of the eighties, Ian is famous for his collaborations with Pink Floyd. In a quest to extend his range subsequently moved into live-action to begin directing comedy. In addition to commercials, he has directed numerous TV series, shorts and four feature films. He won an Oscar nomination for his comedy Goodie Two Shoes which he wrote and directed, and has recently picked up his 3rd British Academy Award.
